"Well, for starters, my name isn't Michael Vaughn."

I watched the Alias finale last night. Alias, like Lost, was created and produced by J.J. Abrahms. I've seen every episode of all four seasons of Alias. Seasons 1 and 2 are seriously incredible television. Season 3 was weaker, and Season 4 has had some good episodes, but has been lackluster on the whole. The cliffhanger at the end of season 2 is absolutely incredible. I didn't they'd top it. Well, turns out, they sorta did. They did the thing thing that Lost was supposed to do. They made me jump up out of bed, screaming "Holy Shit!" I even went and got my wife, who doesn't watch the show, just to show her how unexpected it was. If you haven't seen it and want to, don't click the read more link. Otherwise, check out how J.J. got this one right. (MAJOR SPOILERS)

Lost Finale

I'm really pressed for time today, but since people have been takling at work and I've got some emails, plus I know Sarachkah is gonna want to kibitz, here's a place to do so. I'll replay as I have time (maybe at lunch?). Sith is gonna have to wait til the weekend.

Anyway, I don't think it met the hype. There was some cool stuff, but when one of the exec-producers claims it's "Who Shot JR?"-level material, he better fricking mean it! Not even close. I did love some of the stuff, and the obvious prediction I made a while back (about Charlie and the Heroin Facto...plane) came true. But I'm feeling a bit let down. JJ has done this to me with Alias before. All it really does is prove to me just how genius Whedon really is.

I'll still watch. I mean, come on. It's still great TV, but I felt let down. You guys?

Sith Talk

Well, I was going to write about Revenge of the Sith during lunch, but other stuff came up. Thus is life, sorry. I'll write about it tomorrow. I'm sure no one is really devastated.

The Bottom of the Slippery Slope

I have been so wrong. So I'm changing my tune. From now on, I love Government. Government is the best. So many responsible people spending my tax money so wisely. I don't know how I ever could have doubted Government. Go Government!!!

Major cool government action right here.

On a more serious note, there's a real point to be made here.

Lost Discussion

Throw your afterthoughts here. Two Three Four things from me:

Time-bending. The Black Rock could suggest that the Island can grab people from different time periods and bring them together. Man, if some pirates from 1885 could show up on the Island? Cool.

Michelle Rodriquez. I guess her presence suggests that at least one, if not more, of the people in the black of the plane are going to be found next week. I hope that nice lady finds her husband.

Jack and Sawyer. Holy crap. That scene was mind-blowingly good. Uncle Charlie rocked out!

Jin's gonna die. Something is going to happen to him on that raft. Just a guess, but I think it's true. Which sucks, because Daniel Dae Kim is awesome. But it's interesting... that he came out and told Sun that he felt he was there because he was being punished. And that he thought Sun was only there because of him. I wonder...

Walt does not want to get on that raft.

I'm just saying, things will not go well when Walt is made to leave on that. Shit will happen. It will not be good shit. I'm just saying.

The current thoughts of my Lost loving friends revolve around the fact the Sayid has been searching for his missing love Nadia for 7 years, but a month into the crash, he's all of the sudden hooking up with the anti-Ken Jennings, Shannon. WTF, my friends. WTF?!

Here's a fun little link for fans who can handle a little fun poking.

I had more, but I can't find them at the moment. Oh well, everybody into the hatch.

wowgirl credits

Well, hopefully most of you have or are on your way to getting the flick. If you're still having trouble, let me know.

Since they aren't in the movie, I thought I would post a preliminary opening credit list. This WILL change, but it was something I put together really quick the other day.
